ABOUT MINJI, FOUNDER

Founder & Master Instructor, Pilates 101

Min Ji is the founder and owner of Pilates 101. Her journey into Pilates began after years of suffering from chronic pain caused by scoliosis. Through consistent Pilates practice—a full-body, systematic approach to movement—she experienced a remarkable transformation, improving her posture, mobility, and overall well-being. Inspired by her recovery, she decided to dedicate her career to helping others discover the same benefits of the Pilates method.

Min Ji is a fully certified STOTT PILATES® and IMX Pilates instructor, specializing in Injuries and Special Populations for rehabilitation and conditioning. She has developed customized Pilates-based rehabilitation programs and works closely with clients recovering from injuries or managing chronic conditions. As a mother herself, she also loves teaching pre- and postnatal clients and teenagers, approaching every session with empathy, precision, and passion.

In 2021, Min Ji completed the prestigious Lolita San Miguel Master Mentor Program, becoming a Second Generation Master Pilates Instructor. Lolita San Miguel—a direct disciple of Joseph and Clara Pilates—is one of only two individuals ever officially certified by Joseph Pilates himself. Through this mentorship, Min Ji deepened her understanding of the classical method and gained profound insight into the roots of Pilates.
